At the «Ferro Couselo» Chirstmas is very beatiful and collaborative.
On Chirstmas 1 of ESO we made some postcards.The ones found on that tree ,stikers, stars and thousands of other things. We have holidays from December 21 to January 8.

CARNIVAL
Here at Ferro Couselo to celebrate carnival we dress up 5 days a week, before the carnival holidays.
On Monday, we dressed up as «chonnis y canis».
On Tuesday we wear sports clothes.
On Wednesday we dress elegantly.
On Thursday we wore our pijamas.
On Friday the topic was free.
In the afternoon on Friday, we present our performaces.
These are some of the masks we created in Carnival. There are similar to the screens used in the cities of Verín, Xinzo and Laza.

Galician Literature Day-17 th May
This year we dedicated Galician Literature Day to :Luisa Villalta.
Luisa Villalta was a writer, poet and violinist. She was born on October 29, 1957 in A Coruña. She began her literary career in poety. Where she stood out for her of language and her ability to provoke deep and complex feelings.
Some of her poems were:
«Roteiros»(on 1980)
«En concreto»(on 1992)
-«Ruído» (1995)
-«Septiembre» (2003)
In addittion her poetry, Luisa Villalta also wrote stories. Some of them are:
-“As chaves do tempo” (1991)
-«Un compás de Alba» (1995)
Luisa Villalta was also an important figure in the promotion of the Galician language and in the defense of the cultural rights of Galicia. She actively participated in various cultural movements and associations, and his work shows a deep concern for the identity and cultural memory of her land.
She received several awards and recognitions for his contribution to Galician literature.
she was also a violinist.
And on March 6, 2004 he died in A Coruña.
